The Turkey Won
Stuffing was only the beginning
|
Thanksgiving was a success. The Turkey was roasted and fought back. This year, I'm thankful for many things.
1. The normal token things. Family, Job, House, Friends, etc.
2. My cats. They provide endless hours of entertainment by attacking the sliding glass door at the sight of the neighborhood cat.
3. Putters Bar and Grill. Without it, I wouldn't have anywhere to spend money, pick up chicks or hang out with friends.
4. My Laptop. It keeps me connected to the world whenever I'm in range of a Wi-Fi hot spot.
5. Home Theater. Gets people over to the house to watch movies and avoid expensive bar-crawl evenings.
6. Poker. Poker, oh Poker, how I love thee! Let me count the ways... Royal Flush, Ace High Straight, Three of a Kind... shall I go on?
7. Thai food and Burritos. Never before have I lost more weight than by eating Noodle and Chicken burritos every day.
8. Sattellite Radio. No commercials, no bullshit. Worth every penny many times over.
9. Cooking. I like food that I cook. In fact, I really like the food that I cook. It's good stuff.
10. Incompetant Software Development. They keep my IT consultants and I fed, clothed and housed.
