Breakin' My Back...

A foot of snow (or more).

Betsy and I dug the car out and managed to get mobile again. Working my ass off from home today was fun. I didn't get a lot done, as I was feeling tired all day and ready to escape the house.

Trying to ride the bus to work yesterday was awful. I estimate between 4-5 hours were spent commuting. Part of that included a (you guessed it) mile long hike through a foot of snow uphill.

I have a new respect for my father, who reportedly did the same thing every day as a kid.

At least I didn't have to fight off ravenous Pterodactyls...

There were a few Reed College students that we're about as frightening, though.
